**Job Summary:**

The Respiratory Care Practitioner II is responsible for delivering high-quality respiratory care services to adult patients in critical care settings. This role requires strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Provide oxygen therapy and aerosolized medication delivery as prescribed by physicians
* Perform ventilator management and troubleshooting to ensure optimal patient outcomes
* Conduct diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function tests (PFTs)
* Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments

**Requirements:**

* Graduate of an AMA-approved school for Respiratory Care
* Current Respiratory Care License in the state of employment
* National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) credentialed
* Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification preferred
