We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Junior Loan Officer to join our team at Totally About Houses. As a key member of our mortgage lending team, you will be responsible for assisting applicants with loan applications, assessing their financial situation, and recommending suitable mortgage loan products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collect and review financial information to prepare loan files and assess applicant eligibility
  • Build relationships with loan applicants, providing guidance on home mortgage products and answering questions
  • Collaborate with senior mortgage loan officers to recommend mortgage loan products based on applicant financial status
  • Liaise with realtors, underwriters, and loan processors to ensure successful loan transactions
  • Monitor sales pipeline, meet sales expectations, and generate new business opportunities
Requirements:
  • Willingness to complete training program to obtain NMLS/MLO/state license
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, but high school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent relationship, sales, communication, and MS Office skills
  • Experience in real estate, lending institutions, or related fields desired
  • Familiarity with home mortgage program guidelines and various loan types beneficial
  • Active Mortgage Loan Officer License required
