Key Responsibilities

The Logistics Coordination Expert will be responsible for:

  • Providing accurate quotes for client shipments.
  • Generating Bills of Lading (BOL) for new shipments and coordinating with suppliers.
  • Managing load tenders in the Mercury Gate Transportation Management System (TMS).
  • Monitoring the status of shipments from pick-up through delivery.
  • Exhibiting a high level of professionalism in all interactions with customers and suppliers.
  • Demonstrating meticulous attention to detail and asking pertinent questions to ensure precise quotes.
  • Resolving issues related to misrouted or critical freight.
  • Escalating critical issues to the Operations Manager as necessary.
  • Assisting with billing discrepancies and updating systems accordingly.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Familiarity with Transportation Management Systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
