Job Title: Field Service Technician

Rapiscan Systems is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our security and inspection systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install, repair, and maintain equipment in the field
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure total customer satisfaction
  • Respond to emergency and non-scheduled calls for service within established response time goals
  • Meet daily service repair needs and drive customer satisfaction at assigned sites
  • Complete all scheduled maintenance within required deadlines
  • Document all maintenance and repair work and submit paperwork in a timely manner
  • Order, install, and return parts as required
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment and adhere to company safety procedures and product workmanship procedures
Requirements:
  • Associate of Science degree in electronics or a related technical discipline or equivalent military training or experience
  • 4 years of experience in a field service environment, with a strong background in electronics and mechanical assemblies
  • Knowledge of electronic and mechanical assemblies, wiring diagrams, and schematics
  • Familiarity with test equipment and experience with high voltage and x-ray producing equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with minimal oversight
  • Flexible schedule and ability to travel up to 75% of the time
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to walk, stand, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, bend, and sit for extended periods
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
