Korn Ferry Military Division has partnered with our client to find a skilled Field Service Technician for a remote role covering the Atlanta GA territory.

This position involves high travel, with 3 weeks per month spent on the road, typically 2-3 days per week. The ideal candidate will have a strong client interfacing skillset and be able to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform field service to install, commission, repair, and troubleshoot load bank products installed at customer sites.
  • Travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and repair products as needed.
  • Perform and document all maintenance activities.
  • Diagnose errors or technical problems and repair or replace defective units/components as appropriate.
  • Use test and diagnostic equipment to isolate malfunctions.
  • Conduct equipment/system acceptance testing following established procedures.
  • Complete customer site trainings and safety briefings as needed.
  • Prepare and document the details of resolution to the problem from each customer site upon completion of the visit.
  • Troubleshoot and repair product that has been returned to the factory service center.

Requirements:

  • At least 4 years U.S. Military experience required.
  • Prefer EMs with Medium to High electrical/high-voltage application.
  • 3+ years of Field Service experience (preferably in the power generation or backup power industry).
  • STRONG client interfacing skills.

Compensation:

$120-130K total ($85-95K base + 7% bonus + 1.5/hr rate for OT)

What You Will Do:

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing field service to install, commission, repair, and troubleshoot load bank products installed at customer sites. You will travel to customer sites to troubleshoot and repair products as needed, and perform and document all maintenance activities.

Education and Work Experience:

At least 4 years U.S. Military experience required. Prefer EMs with Medium to High electrical/high-voltage application. 3+ years of Field Service experience (preferably in the power generation or backup power industry). STRONG client interfacing skills.

Remote (Atlanta GA territory - must live within 1 hour of a major airport)
