Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Addiction Counselor 2 to join our team at Marion County, OR. As a key member of our team, you will provide counseling and case management services to individuals with substance use disorders, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:
  • Deliver individual and group counseling sessions, providing psychoeducation and skills-building to promote recovery and wellness.
  • Build rapport with clients, inform them of their rights and responsibilities, and explain program policies.
  • Screen for substance use disorders, complete ASAM Criteria assessments, and identify health and safety risks.
  • Provide case management and care coordination services, making timely referrals to other professionals and agencies.
  • Maintain clinical records in accordance with Federal, State, and program requirements.
Requirements:
  • Must possess a current MHACBO CADC II certification or higher.
  • Two years of full-time work experience in addiction counseling or program coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
