Job Summary

As a Senior Front Office Manager Rooms Operations, you will be responsible for leading the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments, including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping. You will strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department. You will monitor compliance with standards and procedures, lead specific teams, and assist with meeting or exceeding property goals.

Candidate Profile

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in hospitality management. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least 4 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area. Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, and 2 years of experience in the guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related professional area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the execution of all operations in the rooms area departments, including Front Office, Engineering/Maintenance, and Housekeeping.
  • Strive to continually improve guest and employee satisfaction and maximize the financial performance of the department.
  • Monitor compliance with standards and procedures.
  • Lead specific teams and assist with meeting or exceeding property goals.
  • Create and nurture a property environment that emphasizes motivation, empowerment, teamwork, continuous improvement, and a passion for providing service.
  • Understand employee and guest satisfaction results and develop action plans to address needed areas and expand on strengths.
  • Set clear expectations with the General Manager for the team.
  • Verify that the team has the capabilities to meet expectations.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating self-confidence, energy, and enthusiasm.
  • Assist employees in understanding guests' ever-changing needs and expectations and exceeding them.
Benefits

Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $68,000 to $82,000 annually, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including a bonus program, comprehensive health care benefits, 401(k) plan with up to 5% company match, employee stock purchase plan at 15% discount, accrued paid time off, life insurance, group disability insurance, travel discounts, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, health savings account, flexible spending accounts, tuition assistance, pre-tax commuter benefits, other life and work wellness benefits, and may include other incentives such as stock awards and deferred compensation plans.
