House Supervisor RN - Night Shift

Perimeter Healthcare is excited to announce an opportunity for a full-time House Supervisor RN on the night shift.

Located in Arlington, Texas, Perimeter Behavioral Hospital specializes in psychiatric care for children and adolescents, offering inpatient programs designed to support their mental health needs. Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster effective working relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, patients' families, and nursing staff.
  • Coordinate and oversee services on assigned units to create a supportive and positive environment for patient care.
  • Conduct regular rounds on nursing units, checking on patients and welcoming new admissions.
  • Promote a team-oriented atmosphere that enhances the quality of care and patient experience.
  • Provide guidance and support to nursing staff in assessments and care planning, especially during changes in patient conditions.
  • Facilitate communication between nursing staff and healthcare providers to ensure timely and appropriate patient care.
  • Respond to emergencies and ensure that appropriate measures are taken.
  • Ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained across all assigned units.

Qualifications:

  • Active Registered Nurse license in Texas or eligibility for a compact license.
  • Previous experience in an inpatient behavioral health setting is highly preferred.
  • Management or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
  • Current BLS certification is required.
  • Completion of Handle with Care training during orientation is mandatory.
  • Availability for a comprehensive week of hospital orientation and subsequent departmental training is essential.
