Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Healthcare Coordinator to join our team at A-Plus Healthcare. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising in-home care workers and clients in a geographic area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and drive the field recruiting and hiring process.
  • Oversee the new hire process for all new employees and ensure all documentation is completed timely and accurately.
  • On-board and train new branch Administrative employees.
  • Schedule employees as directed by client's care plan established upon intake.
  • Process patient authorizations and communicate with central admissions, enter reauthorizations into client record and ensure chart preparation for all new clients.
  • Create work schedules by entering schedules into the system, manage changes to client schedules due to client request, illness, vacation or leaves of absence. Provide alternate coverage to ensure the client's care plan is followed and client services are not interrupted.
  • Supervise direct service employees by setting expectations for attendance, performance and conduct by holding employees accountable to the company's policies and guidelines.
  • Assist with the new hire process for all new employees and ensure all documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of industry experience required.
  • Interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
  • Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Scheduling program.
  • Reliable transportation required.
