The Role:

The Capital Call Line business at Piermont Bank is a cutting-edge initiative that provides innovative fund-level financing solutions. Our Capital Call Line facilities are collateralized by the uncalled capital of a fund's limited partners, offering a unique opportunity for growth and expansion.

As a Relationship Manager for the Capital Call Line business, you will play a crucial role in developing the business and its clients, structuring, executing, and managing Capital Call Line facilities. You will be responsible for driving profitability by ensuring the credit and financial impact of all business decisions is independently evaluated and recommendations made to the business to mitigate any financial risks.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with clients and stakeholders to drive business growth and expansion.
  • Structure, execute, and manage Capital Call Line facilities to meet the needs of clients and the business.
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated credit and portfolio information to ensure accurate and timely decision-making.
  • Drive profitability by evaluating the credit and financial impact of business decisions and making recommendations to mitigate financial risks.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a credit-related field.
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience in lending, underwriting, credit, or portfolio management, with a strong understanding of fund finance.
  • Origination track record preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting, financial analysis, and the principles of secured lending.
  • Transaction and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of Bank personnel and customers.
  • Ability to form effective client relationships.
  • Established credit, industrial, and risk acumen.
  • Proven ability to prioritize competing demands.

Compensation and Benefits:

The hiring range for this position is $150,000 to $180,000 per year. The base pay will be determined based on internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, dental, vision, 401k, and other benefits.
