Diesel and Small Engine Technician

Western Lehigh Services & Transport is seeking a skilled Diesel and Small Engine Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for assisting in the repair and maintenance of diesel and small engine equipment, as well as providing support to the yard team with customer purchases and deliveries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist mechanics with regular maintenance on machinery, systems, and automotive vehicles
- Assemble mechanical components according to specifications
- Examine machines and oversee diagnostic tests to determine functionality problems
- Pick up and deliver parts as needed for service vehicles and jobs
- Repairing, replacing, and servicing vehicle brakes, completing oil changes, and other parts
- Keep service van clean, organized, and stocked with proper parts and supplies
- Follow proper PPE and safety protocols when working on equipment
- Safely operate and work with the Yard Assistant as needed in the Supply Yard
- Keep equipment clean during and after each use
- Conducting field visits in case of an emergency or sudden breakdown
- Maintain workspaces and promote shop safety
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- CDL - A
- Degree, certification, or diploma in mechanical or automotive engineering
- Diesel certification
- Minimum of 2 years' experience

- Profit-sharing eligibility: 4th Quarter annually
Working Conditions:
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch, lift (50 lbs.+) and carry out strenuous physical tasks
- Work outdoors in various conditions including heat, rain and cold
