Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team at our Allentown, PA location. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex maintenance and repair services on our fleet vehicles, as well as troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical and electronic problems.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and complex maintenance and repair services on fleet vehicles
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electronic problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance and inspections
  • Estimate time and material costs for repairs
  • Requisition new parts and materials
  • Conduct safety checks on vehicles
  • Complete required paperwork and documentation
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Successfully complete and pass pre-employment drug screen and physical
  • Ability to perform physical requirements of the position
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist others
  • Must be able to work in a dusty, greasy environment with moderate noise and temperature ranges
Preferred Qualifications
  • CDL A/B certification
  • State Inspection Certification
  • Experience with Cummins and Detroit engines
  • Experience with AC and electrical systems
