Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our Emergency Department team at Bayhealth. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with emergency department physicians to assess and treat patients.
2. Order and interpret laboratory tests and radiology studies as needed.
3. Prescribe medications and make recommendations for other therapeutic forms of treatment.
4. Evaluate and disposition patients in a productive manner, with a goal of 2.0 patients per hour.

Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
2. Certification as a Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) and Controlled Substances Registration.
3. Experience in emergency medicine, preferably in a hospital setting.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or related field.
2. Additional education or training in a specialty area, such as emergency medicine or critical care.
