Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Production Scheduler to coordinate and optimize production schedules, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of products. This role is critical in maintaining production flow and balancing operational efficiency with customer demands.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage production schedules to align with customer requirements and maximize production efficiency.
  • Utilize ERP systems to monitor and adjust schedules based on capacity and resource availability.
  • Collaborate with production teams, supervisors, and procurement to prioritize orders and ensure materials and components are available.
  • Maintain minimum inventory levels while balancing customer demand and avoiding excess aging inventory.
  • Communicate schedule changes and updates to relevant departments, including production, quality control, and customer service.
  • Analyze production capacity, optimize throughput, and reduce lead times.
  • Oversee rework jobs and ensure timely completion.
  • Organize work centers and maintain effective lead times for successful deliveries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of scheduling and production control, preferably in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment.
  • Strong proficiency in ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of inventory management techniques.
