Responsibilities
  • Develop and close new client relationships, with a focus on growing a $1 million+ institutional consulting practice in multiple markets.
  • Deliver sales presentations and finals to individuals and committees, showcasing your expertise in retirement plan services.
  • Set prospect meetings, with a minimum of three per week, to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Cross-sell additive CAPTRUST services to existing clients, such as discretionary services, to increase revenue and grow the practice.
  • Develop relationships with COIs and other referral sources to expand the network and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide fiduciary advice to existing client relationships, ensuring that clients receive expert guidance on their retirement plan needs.
  • Conduct and document quarterly portfolio and plan reviews, providing clients with regular updates and recommendations.
  • Provide education and advice programs for plan participants, helping them make informed decisions about their retirement plans.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree required; major in Business Administration, Marketing, or Finance preferred.
    • 5 years of direct selling experience in the financial service industry.
  • Desired Qualifications/Skills:
    • Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
    • High standard of professionalism.
    • Looking to develop a long-term career in the investment/financial services industry.
    • Able to work independently.
    • Securities licenses series 65, 66, 7.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
    • Client Relationship Management (CRM) software experience.
