Job Title: Before and After School Program Staff

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Before and After School Program Staff to join our team at Healthy Kids Programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a safe, healthy, and engaging environment for children aged 5-12.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement hands-on activities that promote learning and fun, aligned with our Healthy Kids Curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive atmosphere that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth in children.
  • Establish and maintain open communication with parents and guardians through regular updates and progress reports.
  • Ensure compliance with OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids Extended Day Program policies, and host school rules.
  • Perform management functions such as attendance tracking, registration, and staffing, as required.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of experience working with children under 13 preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to pass a background check, including fingerprinting, references, and medical clearance.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and move with ease, as required by the job.
