PET/CT Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled PET/CT Technologist to join our team at NewYork Presbyterian Westchester. As a PET/CT Technologist, you will be responsible for producing high-quality diagnostic images and ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret physician orders and select appropriate software options and imaging parameters to produce high-quality PET/CT images.
  • Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications and radiation safety regulations.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and treatments.
  • Troubleshoot scanner and peripheral equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Associate's Degree.
  • Certification in Nuclear Medicine by the NMTCB or ARRT (N) required.
  • AHA BLS certification required.
  • 1-2 years PET imaging experience or 1-2 years' experience in Nuclear Medicine procedures and studies preferred.
