About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation Specialist to join our client's innovative team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge control systems for wastewater treatment, contributing to a more sustainable future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Design PLC-based control systems for new and existing wastewater treatment systems, developing PLC/HMI programs and creating electrical drawings.
  • Project Management: Manage projects and collaborate with manufacturing and electrical teams to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Troubleshooting: Provide over-the-phone troubleshooting for control systems and occasional travel for design reviews, installations, and on-site troubleshooting.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of design practices and documentation.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree preferred (AS in EE, Automation, or related field accepted).
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in industrial control systems design and PLC programming.
  • Skills: Proficiency in PLC/HMI programming, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office suite, with strong problem-solving skills and hands-on approach.
  • Communication: Excellent communication abilities for customer and peer interactions.
  • Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry standards (NEC, NEMA, UL) is a plus.
