Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team at Cirtec Medical Corporation. As an Automation Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, setting up, troubleshooting, and resolving issues with automated manufacturing equipment to improve uptime and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with company, quality, and safety standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide mechanical and electrical technical support for manufacturing equipment and assist with setup of new equipment.
  • Communicate with machine operators to troubleshoot issues and address their concerns.
  • Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics, manuals, and written instructions to assist in troubleshooting issues.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance (PM) and calibrations of existing equipment.
  • Utilize the facilities work order system to efficiently resolve and document issues.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts, corrective action formulation, and root-cause investigation when necessary.
  • Assist with training operators, techs, and other individuals about operating and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Assist with performing system validations and trials.

Qualifications:

  • Background in Maintenance or Industrial Technology, or related field.
  • At least three (3) years of practical mechanical and/or electrical experience.
  • Experience troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment in a production setting a plus.
  • Troubleshooting/maintenance skills.
  • Great upbeat attitude who enjoys working with a strong technical team and capable of working individually as well.
  • Must be able to work 2nd shift 2:45 pm - 11:00 pm.
