Job Overview

The Chrome Plater is responsible for applying chrome plating to various components in accordance with established processing standards and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve or surpass production and quality benchmarks while ensuring safety and compliance.
  • Perform rework as necessary or as directed.
  • Maintain accurate production logs, routers, quality records, and other required documentation.
  • Conduct inspections and reviews of parts for any defects as needed.
  • Count and distribute parts throughout the department.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, guidelines, and work instructions related to safety, operations, and employment.
  • Promptly inform management of any potential hazards, safety concerns, or issues.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is mandatory.
  • This is an entry-level position; proficiency is typically attained after 4 to 6 weeks of training.
  • Ability to follow detailed work instructions is essential.
  • Demonstrated capability to work independently while adhering to work instructions is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain focus and concentration are necessary.
  • The role requires manual dexterity, including the ability to handle small components, good hand/eye coordination, and the ability to sit, stand, and walk. Lifting may be required.
