Job Summary

Summary: Oversees food-service personnel in alignment with company policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Trains and mentors staff; organizes, assigns, and supervises work; evaluates performance; recognizes and addresses issues; resolves conflicts.
  • Communicates purchasing needs to management with an emphasis on reducing waste and preventing shortages.
  • Implements standardized recipes and production guidelines to maintain quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
  • Ensures proper operation and sanitation of equipment after each use.
  • Labels, stores, and dates food items according to established protocols; maintains proper food rotation to minimize spoilage.
  • Adheres to HACCP standards to guarantee food safety and quality.
  • Operates food-service machinery safely and in accordance with established guidelines.
  • Assists in meal service; remains available during meal times to gather customer feedback.
  • Performs additional duties as required.
