Position Overview

As a Junior Accounting Manager, you will play a vital role in our energetic team, focusing on various financial tasks primarily related to taxation. You will gain valuable experience in payroll, bookkeeping, compilations, reviews, and more, all within the automotive context. Reporting directly to the Account Manager, your responsibilities will include preparing personal, partnership, and corporate tax returns. Additionally, you will engage with clients, conduct research on tax compliance issues, review financial statements, create tax projections, and collaborate on responses to tax authorities.

A successful Junior Accounting Manager at Kaizen CPAs + Advisors is someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment focused on continuous improvement. You will serve as a bridge between Staff Accountants and Managers, making it essential to understand both roles clearly. Qualifications
  • CPA or EA certification preferred; willingness to pursue if not already obtained.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • 1-3 years of experience preferred, but not required to apply.
  • Proficiency in various software programs including Outlook, Excel, Word, QuickBooks, and tax-related software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive client and team relationships.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Resilience and enthusiasm to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment.
  • Exceptional time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
  • Desire to grow and move into the Account Manager role required.
