We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Agropur. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality in our products.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, suppliers, customers, manufacturing, and distribution, to establish quality requirements and ensure compliance.
- Manage food safety and quality assurance functions to ensure that proposed and existing products and processes meet company standards.
- Develop and maintain methods and systems for measuring the degree to which Agropur's food safety/quality goals, objectives, and standards are being met.
- Interface with regulatory agencies and industry organizations to stay up-to-date on the latest food safety and quality regulations and standards.
- Manage department budget and cost management activities.
- Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Dairy Science, Operations Management, or related field.
- Minimum three (3) years of quality assurance/control experience in food processing/dairy production.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
