Job Summary:

As a Continuous Improvement Area Manager at Randstad, you will play a key role in operational excellence integration across multiple plant operations. Your expertise will ensure the sustainability of Manufacturing Operating Systems, maintaining consistent manufacturing excellence company-wide.

This position requires a strong leader who can coach assigned plants in new integrated working methods, tools, and processes. You will act as a key coach to your assigned plants and guide senior management plant members in specific program activities, systems, and tools.

Key responsibilities include supporting onsite implementation of the plant management's strategic plan, working closely with union partners and managers, and developing teams and resources to meet autonomy and accountability objectives.

You will also work with the Director, Operational Improvement (Corporate) to develop area cluster strategies based on site financial and operational evaluations, identifying and managing initiatives in line with plant strategic plans and SQCDME scorecards.

Additional responsibilities include facilitating work sessions onsite to support activities in line with Core Operating System, including facilitating kaizens when required, and creating 90-day action plans with assigned plant directors to address losses based on data to ensure SQCDME goals and supporting OGSM governance with plant managers.

Requirements include a Bachelor's Degree in engineering, a minimum of five years of experience in manufacturing (continuous improvement, production, quality, or maintenance), and experience in implementing change management strategies. Hands-on knowledge of related Operating Systems is required, and familiarity with TPM is a must. Preferred qualifications include lean/six sigma accreditation, fluency in spoken and written English and Spanish, and food consumer packaged goods experience.

This is a permanent position with a salary range of $95,000 - $115,000 per year. Benefits include health, an incentive and recognition program, and 401K contribution (all benefits are based on eligibility).
