Sign-On Bonus: Eligible candidates may receive a $40,000 sign-on bonus, contingent upon having a minimum of one year of current RN Acute Care experience.
Role Summary:
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will deliver exceptional patient care while taking responsibility for a designated group of patients during your shift. Your role will involve utilizing the nursing process in collaboration with other healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments in a systematic manner, focusing on the physiological, psychological, and cognitive status of patients.
- Develop a prioritized, goal-directed care plan based on nursing diagnoses and expected patient outcomes.
- Deliver care in a knowledgeable, skillful, and consistent manner.
- Establish patient care priorities based on essential needs and available resources.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of care provided and monitor patient progress towards outcomes.
- Identify learning needs of patients and their significant others, implementing appropriate educational measures.
- Coordinate interdisciplinary functions to enhance patient care.
- Adhere to all compliance responsibilities associated with the position.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Additional Information:
Desired qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). This is a full-time position with a standard work schedule of 36 hours per week, specifically evening shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including every other weekend commitment.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is $55.09.
Credentials Required:
Essential: Registered Nurse license.
Education Requirements:
Essential: Associate's Level Degree in Nursing.
Working Conditions:
Essential: This role requires significant manual skills, motor coordination, and finger dexterity. The position may involve exposure to various occupational risks and requires the ability to exert up to 50 lbs. of force.
