Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Sensor Controls & Electronics Department. The successful candidate will work with a highly motivated team to design and develop systems using Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop COTS hardware infrastructure systems, including X86-based processors
  • Research and select servers, workstations, add-in interface cards, storage devices, and other COTS hardware
  • Configure BIOS and operating systems for system integration
  • Develop and implement computing, networking, and information technology infrastructure
  • Collaborate with hardware engineering disciplines, supply chain, suppliers, field engineering, on-site installation and trades, and customers to develop and deliver safety critical systems
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline
  • Eight (8) years of relevant experience in at least three of the following areas: experience with emerging and legacy hardware/software, including Unix and Linux operating systems, experience developing and implementing computing, networking, and information technology infrastructure, experience working in a lab environment and operating standard test equipment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
