Job Summary

The Division of General Internal Medicine and Health Services Research at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA invites applications for a LGBTQ+ Healthcare Fellow position. This fellowship is designed to train future primary care physicians to be sensitive, comfortable, clinically knowledgeable, and culturally competent in delivering healthcare to sexual and gender minority patient populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in yearlong longitudinal clinical rotations in various UCLA and affiliated clinical sites, with flexibility to tailor experiences to learning environment and career goals.
  • Develop expertise in primary care for MSM, WSW, transgender care, and other LGBTQ+ health topics.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to LGBTQ+ patients.
  • Contribute to research and education initiatives focused on LGBTQ+ health.
Requirements
  • Completion of residency training by June 30, 2025 in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics combined specialties.
  • Strong interest in caring for LGBTQ+ communities and passion for leadership, teaching, research, and expanding the current landscape of LGBTQ+ health.

  • Competitive salary range of $74,800 - $134,700.
