We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Anatomy & Physiology instructor to join our team at Adtalem Global Education. As a faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching undergraduate BSN nursing students on-site in Chicago, IL.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and deliver high-quality course materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments, that align with the College of Nursing's curriculum standards.
- Teach Anatomy & Physiology I-IV with Lab (BIOS-251 thru BIOS-256) courses, using a body systems approach to emphasize interrelationships between form and function at the gross and microscopic levels of organization.
- Use a variety of teaching methods, including lectures, discussions, and hands-on activities, to engage students and promote learning.
- Assess student learning through exams, quizzes, and other evaluations, and provide timely feedback to students.
- Stay current with developments in the field of Anatomy & Physiology and incorporate new knowledge and techniques into your teaching practices.
- Collaborate with other faculty members to develop and implement curriculum changes and improvements.
- Earned a master's or doctorate degree in Anatomy & Physiology or a related field, with a minimum of 18 or more graduate credit hours earned directly in Anatomy & Physiology.
- Proven teaching experience in Anatomy & Physiology, with a strong track record of student success and satisfaction.
- Exceptional subject matter expertise, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A strong work ethic, with a commitment to delivering high-quality instruction and support to students.
