Job Description

The BeOnAir Network of Media Schools is seeking a highly skilled Education Coordinator to join our team at the Chicago Downtown Campus. As a key member of our instructional team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality curriculum and ensuring the success of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a positive student climate and implement curriculum delivery by instructors
  • Hire and supervise instructors, ensuring compliance with school policies and teaching guidelines
  • Provide announcements, reinforce attendance policies, and introduce instructors to each class
  • Supervise instructors and Graduate Assistants to ensure lesson plans are followed and students are engaged
  • Identify and invite new potential instructors to visit the school and discuss teaching or guest lecturing

Requirements:

  • 2-year college degree or equivalent experience
  • At least two years of direct experience in the field of education

Work Environment:

This is an independent position supervised by the National Director of Curriculum and Faculty, Campus Director, and Director of Education. The successful candidate will be required to move frequently between departments and present lectures for long periods, making this a non-sedentary role.
