We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team at Avanos Medical. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Interventional Pain market.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers in assigned territories
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while protecting and growing existing market share
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans, including product launches and promotional activities
- Manage and analyze sales data to optimize territory performance and identify areas for improvement
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- At least three years of experience in medical device sales, with a proven track record of success
- Strong understanding of the hospital/ASC buying process, including GPOs, IDNs, and distributors
- Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including fee-for-service, value-based care, and alternative payment methods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
- Ability to travel frequently, with occasional overnight stays
- Experience working in the pain management field
- Capital equipment sales experience
- Hospital, operating room, and physician sales experience
- Five years or more of medical device sales experience, with documented growth and achievements
