About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Territory Manager to join our team at Avanos Medical. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the Interventional Pain market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with healthcare professionals and decision-makers in assigned territories
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, while protecting and growing existing market share
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market developments to inform sales strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales plans, including product launches and promotional activities
  • Manage and analyze sales data to optimize territory performance and identify areas for improvement
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • At least three years of experience in medical device sales, with a proven track record of success
  • Strong understanding of the hospital/ASC buying process, including GPOs, IDNs, and distributors
  • Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement methodologies, including fee-for-service, value-based care, and alternative payment methods
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to travel frequently, with occasional overnight stays
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in the pain management field
  • Capital equipment sales experience
  • Hospital, operating room, and physician sales experience
  • Five years or more of medical device sales experience, with documented growth and achievements
