Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Buyer to join our team. As a Procurement Buyer, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day category management operations, preparing bid documents, and executing agreements up to $25,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day category management operations to support business needs.
  • Prepare bid documents, price inquiries, and addendums for various company departments.
  • Ensure all required contract documents are complete and execute agreements up to $25,000.
  • Obtain RFP Q-Numbers on behalf of the Senior Procurement Agent and add new RFQs to the RFQ Bid Tracking System.
  • Prepare purchase orders and releases based on established templates.
  • Obtain lists of potential bidders for specific solicitations.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and technical and business resources to achieve procurement goals.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 4 years of experience in procurement or a related field.
  • SAP and Arriba experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
