Nurse Administrator

**Job Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse Administrator to join our team at Richmond Public Schools. As a Nurse Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing the health services department, including supervising nursing staff, developing health programs, and maintaining student health records.
The ideal candidate will have a valid Virginia Registered Nursing License, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively with children, young adults, families, teachers, and school administrators.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Supervise nursing staff, including CNAs and LPNs
- Develop and implement health programs for students and staff
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date student health records
- Collaborate with health education committee members
- Conduct training sessions for nursing staff
**Requirements:**
- Valid Virginia Registered Nursing License
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with children, young adults, families, teachers, and school administrators
- Comprehensive knowledge of public school education procedures and policies
**Estimated Salary:** $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
