Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to food service programs, including clerical functions and record-keeping.
  • Answer telephones and direct inquiries in a professional and client-centric manner.
  • Maintain confidential personnel files and assist management staff with preparing employment and labor relations documents.
  • Assist with staffing, including finding staff when employees call out on short notice.
  • Work effectively with co-workers, school personnel, administrators, students' parents, and supervisors.
  • Complete and maintain accurate records of students eligible for free and reduced-priced lunches, if applicable.
  • Enter weekly cash sales and meal counts using a computer.
  • Perform daily bank deposit reconciliation and process vendor invoices for payment.
  • Prepare monthly state claim form for reimbursement and assist in preparing end-of-month financial reports.
  • Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous administrative experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of software applications.
