Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana Line Cook Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Line Cook to join our team in a full service restaurant setting. This position offers opportunities for advancement, including Lead Line Cook, Shift Supervisor or Sous Chef roles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cook and prepare menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Stock and maintain adequate food levels on the line.
  • Prepare and portion recipes before service.
  • Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
  • Foster a positive teamwork attitude and communicate effectively with colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Line Cook, Prep Cook, Pantry, Grill, Pasta, Pastry, Pizza, Sauté is highly desirable.
  • Able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays required.
