Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to provide essential support in the field of behavioral health. This role involves working closely with individuals on the autism spectrum and addressing various behavioral challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Understanding of ASD: Possess a comprehensive understanding of autism spectrum disorder and the associated behaviors.
  • Data Management: Utilize technology and applications effectively to gather data and communicate with supervisory staff.
  • One-on-One Therapy: Deliver individualized ABA therapy sessions to clients.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
  • Feedback Reception: Demonstrate the ability to accept constructive feedback and enhance professional skills.
  • Travel Requirements: Be prepared to travel to various locations as needed.
  • Physical Requirements: Capable of lifting 50 lbs. or more when necessary.
  • Confidentiality: Uphold client confidentiality at all times.
  • Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Health Compliance: Provide proof of a negative TB test.
  • Background Verification: Successfully pass a background check and demonstrate valid auto insurance.
  • Composure: Maintain a calm demeanor in high-pressure situations.
  • Training Commitment: Willingness to complete all required behavior modules and/or 40-hour in-house training through Mercy Plus.
  • Transportation: Be prepared for transportation needs for certain clients.

After completing the training week, you will be scheduled for part-time work based on your availability and client needs. All new hires will begin in part-time positions.
