Job Description
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for preparing patients for examination and treatment by taking vital signs and documenting patient histories. You will also prepare exam rooms with necessary instruments and equipment, including sterilization and maintenance of supplies. Additionally, you will administer injections, assist with lab testing and phlebotomy, and support physicians during minor surgeries and physicals. As a Medical Assistant, you will also answer telephone calls and screen referrals to ensure seamless communication within our practice.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong foundation in clinical skills and patient care. You should possess either an accredited Medical Assisting program diploma or one year of direct clinical patient care experience in a healthcare setting. Current Medical Assistant certification is highly preferred, but not required. If you do not hold certification, you must obtain it within one year of hire date. We welcome recent graduates from Medical Assisting programs who can obtain clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment.

Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is $40,000-$50,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
