Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to fulfill travel assignments within our Imaging Services Unit. This role requires a commitment to excellence in patient care and technical proficiency in MRI procedures.

Certification Requirements:
- ARRT/TMB/MRI Certification
- BLS Certification
- Additional certifications such as NMTCB, CT, ACLS, or RDMS are preferred

Job Details:
- Type: Contract Position
- Schedule: 7P-7A with rotating weekends
- On-call duties are required
- GE MRI experience is essential

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans with a focus on stroke and trauma cases
- Maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate effectively with a team of imaging professionals

Work Environment:
- Imaging Services Unit at South Austin Hospital
- Staffing includes a lead technologist and multiple imaging techs per shift
- Night shift coverage includes CT/RAD and US/MR specialists

Equipment:
- Primarily GE MRI systems

Ideal Candidate:
- Strong scanning skills
- Flexible and positive attitude
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting

Dress Code:
- Olive scrub top with black pants
