Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Strategic Planning
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve patient care and outcomes
- Lead and manage the nursing department, including staff development and performance management
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
- Quality and Patient Safety
- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes and quality metrics
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address patient safety concerns
- Staff Development and Education
- Develop and implement education programs to enhance nursing staff skills and knowledge
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to support their professional development
- Collaborate with other departments to identify and address education and training needs
- Communication and Collaboration
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels with nursing staff, physicians, and other stakeholders
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
- Represent nursing interests and concerns at executive and board meetings
- Education and Experience
- Master's degree in Nursing or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in nursing leadership, preferably in a hospital setting
- Skills and Qualifications
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of quality improvement and patient safety principles
