We are in search of a meticulous Manufacturing Technician who possesses strong skills in shop mathematics, fabrication, and assembly. The ideal candidate will have experience in the fabrication or assembly of systems related to automotive, naval, hydraulic, or steam engines. Proficiency in using precision measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers is essential, along with the ability to operate machinery within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and follow both written and verbal work instructions, utilizing detailed part and tool drawings.
  • Set up workstations to carry out assigned tasks efficiently, ensuring all necessary tools and equipment are available.
  • Adhere to established operational procedures for assembly, balancing, and riveting tasks.
  • Work with precision, paying close attention to dimensions and tolerances while examining work scopes.
  • Determine inspection needs to verify fits and clearances throughout the assembly process.
  • Document measurements and characteristics as required, and operate manual and programmable riveters, as well as cleaning equipment.
