We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals and facilities in our community. Your primary goal will be to secure referrals for our home care services and promote our brand in the senior care industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Establish and nurture professional relationships with key staff at facilities and other referral sources
Acquire and manage 50 key facility, hospice, and home health accounts to secure referral clients
Meet with facility, hospice, and home health contacts at least monthly to discuss their priorities and how we can assist them
Participate in senior care and other networking events to represent and promote our services
Follow up on all facility, hospice, and home health referrals to inform the referrer of the status of their referral
Maintain ongoing communication with facilities about each referred and/or resident client
Suggest, coordinate, and cooperate in marketing/networking opportunities with our quality assurance team and ownership
Requirements:
Active RN license
Comfortable interacting with hospital and rehab discharge planners, case managers, social workers, and other healthcare professionals
Prior experience working in or with facilities and possessing a network of contacts in facilities in our community a plus
Ability to establish good working relationships with facility contacts, senior care industry contacts, clients/prospects, and their families, and coworkers
Possess knowledge of the issues that seniors confront and the senior care industry
Possess excellent oral and written communication skills, time-management skills, and the ability to listen effectively
Ability to work independently, maintain confidentiality of information, and meet deadlines
Ability to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, sound judgment, and good decision-making
Must demonstrate discretion, integrity, and fair-mindedness consistent with company standards, practices, policies, and procedures
Ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly, and yearly work
Must always present a professional appearance and demeanor
Must have proficient computer skills in Word and Excel and the ability to acquire additional computer skills
Ability to work evenings or weekends as required
The position is primarily on the road, visiting with prospective referral sources, so a reliable vehicle is required
This individual must understand and uphold the policies and procedures established by Emerald Home Care, DBA Home Instead
