About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Editor to join our team at Glossier Inc. in Washington DC. As an Editor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring that our products are presented in a way that is both visually appealing and informative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Experience
    • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our products and their benefits to provide expert advice to customers.
    • Ensure that every customer interaction is memorable and inspiring, embodying our core values of Devoted to the Customer, Inclusive, Courageous, Curious, Discerning, and Results-Driven.
    • Master all aspects of our customer service expectations, including order fulfillment, product knowledge, and relationship-building.
    • Monitor customer feedback and work with the leadership team to share insights with key stakeholders.
  • Teamwork
    • Collaborate with store leadership to effectively communicate feedback on inventory logistics, packaging, and customer feedback.
    • Partner with team members to ensure seamless customer experiences, including product demonstrations and cross-training.
    • Operate with optimism and joy, creating a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Operational Excellence
    • Adhere to safety standards and protocols, including COVID-19 guidelines.
    • Restock and replenish inventory accurately and efficiently, leveraging inventory management systems and store logistics.
    • Focus on inventory accuracy and quality, reporting discrepancies promptly.
    • Participate in visual projects, such as display activations and product launches.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment, preferably in retail or hospitality.
  • Prior experience in an advisory or sales capacity within the beauty/skincare space is a plus.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Passion for creating memorable experiences through meaningful personal interactions.
  • Advocate for inclusion and belonging, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Driven by operational excellence, with a focus on logistics and customer experience.
