As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the treatment plant personnel and attaining plant facility performance improvement through data-driven process improvements, equipment upgrades, productivity management, and continuous improvement strategies.
Key Responsibilities:- Directly manage plant facility, supervisors, and lead operators on day-to-day operations to ensure coverage of all shifts, optimal uptime, minimal wait time for disposal customers, and that project schedules are maintained.
- Develop and implement data-driven process improvements, equipment upgrades, and productivity management strategies to attain facility performance improvement.
- Plan, justify, organize, direct, and control installation, engineering repair, upgrades, and expansion activities for projects at the treatment facilities to avoid downtime and ensure profitable reliable operations and growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key customers to ensure retention of customers and acquisition of new customers to support the company's growth goals.
- Assist with regulatory compliance with all permits and reporting requirements to ensure compliance with all laws and regulations.
- Develop project scope, budgets, and delivery schedules for requested projects and ensure tasks/projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Supervise facility engineering activities, including material ordering, shipping, labor plans, job site supervision, job folder updates, develop SOP's, O&M manuals, and reports.
- Monitor and manage facility P&Ls to assist in maintaining and improving budgeted Branch Profit through labor management, oversight of all financial aspects, and vendor management.
- Ensure the implementation of all company policies, procedures, and tools at the facilities.
- Instill a professional customer service mindset in team members, inspiring them to provide excellence in service through responsive communication and commitment to internal and external customers.
- Develop plant operator team members to be customer-focused, technically competent, effective, and productive.
- Identify, promote, and acquire additional 3rd party disposal customers, working with other senior staff to manage clients in the region and participate in the development of proposals.
- Create and manage cost estimates and project schedules.
- High School Diploma (Bachelor's Degree preferred)
- Minimum of 5 years of managing staff
- Experience in field operations
- Ability to travel up to 25% (as needed)
- Customer service and safety-conscious
