About the Role

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Senior Team Member Relations Specialist to join our Human Resources team at our state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facility.

The primary focus of this role is to spearhead company-wide Team Member Relations initiatives.

Reporting directly to the HR Team Member Relations Manager, the selected candidate will play a crucial role in aligning with the strategic objectives of the HR function, ensuring the acquisition and development of talent necessary to achieve organizational goals while fostering a satisfied and engaged workforce to minimize employee turnover.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mid- to large-scale Team Member Relations projects that impact the organization.
  • Act as the HR subject matter expert for managers on policy and Team Member Relations matters.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into workplace policy violations.
  • Implement changes utilizing effective change-management strategies.
  • Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across the organization.
  • Interpret policies and any modifications to them.
  • Utilize compliance knowledge to safeguard the organization.
  • Develop and implement solutions within assigned areas of responsibility.
  • Proactively seek improvements in organizational processes and outcomes.
  • Execute HR technology initiatives.
  • Leverage expertise to research and propose solutions.
  • Report trends and insights to HR leadership.
  • Recommend policy adjustments to meet business needs.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to Team Member Relations Analysts.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in planning and managing small to mid-sized projects.
  • Experience in developing and executing HR strategies.
  • Background in Team Member Relations or related HR functions is essential.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem identification and resolution capabilities.
  • Facilitation and mediation expertise.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
  • Willingness to support overtime as needed.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts.
  • Ability to navigate a large manufacturing facility and engage with employees across different areas.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Employee/Labor Relations, Human Resources, or a closely related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Toyota Team Member Relations.
  • Familiarity with systems such as UKG, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Power BI, or Qualtrics.
  • SHRM or HRCI Certification.
  • HR experience within a manufacturing context.
