The Dietary Aide I role is responsible for setting up service for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Maintaining proper food temperature and attractive presentation for patients and staff are key responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Set up areas of the cafeteria with beverages, food items, desserts, salad bar, fruits, and garish, soups, etc.
- Serve hot and cold foods as directed by the Dietary Supervisor.
- Prepare snacks at required times according to facility policy and record refrigerator and freezer temperatures.
- Clean and sanitize utensils and food preparation areas after each use.
- Follow posted cleaning schedules utilizing proper sanitation and cleaning methods.
- Practice safety, infection control, and emergency procedures according to facility policies.
- Attend in-service education and staff meetings as required.
The ideal candidate is dependable, with previous experience working in quality food production and able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
