">The Rooms Supervisor Role
We're seeking an experienced Hospitality Operations Manager to oversee the daily operation of our Housekeeping and Guest Services departments at our vacation club resort. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for implementing and performing departmental functions, including administrative, accounting, property guest service, and associate development. You'll ensure successful staffing levels, participate in unit inspections to maintain high standards, train staff on ROPs/DOPs, and select and develop associates in both departments.
">Main Responsibilities
- Implement and perform departmental functions to achieve maximum productivity and profitability.
- Manage strict room inventory to achieve the highest possible room occupancy percentage.
- Manage guest accounts to ensure correct rates are being applied and appropriate rate authorization is obtained.
- Review incoming groups to ensure all blocking needs and front office requirements are met.
- Ensure all guest resolutions are achieved and responded concerns are addressed.
- Own and manage the Internal Audit process.
- Ensure departmental compliance with Quality Assurance, Loss Prevention, and safety standards procedures.
- Manage and support all financial aspects of the department.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to effectively coach, mentor, and train staff.
- 2-5 years of hotel/resort experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
