Accounting Manager Position Available

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the controller's checklist to guarantee all transactions are recorded in the general ledger for the closing period.
  • Generate and prepare profit recognition for Work in Process schedules across three companies.
  • Develop mid-year re-forecasts and annual budgets.
  • Maintain all insurance schedules, including but not limited to GL, WC, Auto, etc. This includes preparing monthly entries, participating in audits, and devising forecasting methods for the policy period.
  • Assemble reports for Executive Management that encompass internal P&Ls, cash flows, aged receivables, and WIP Reports for all trade lines.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial performance schedules for review.
  • Create weekly financial reporting schedules for the parent organization.
  • Compile monthly Accounting Schedules, which include Statement of Cash Flow, WIP reconciliation, PP&E, Debt, and Business Insurance.
  • Generate monthly internal financials for various groups including Building, JOC, Mechanical, and Close Out.
  • Prepare monthly consolidation and elimination entries.
  • Coordinate both internal and external audits.
  • Respond promptly to information requests from the parent organization, CFO, Executive Management, and Legal.
  • Conduct ad hoc reporting as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
  • Familiarity with Project Controls and Project Management processes.
  • Experience in Construction Accounting, including AIA Billing, Certified Payroll, Job Costing, Financial Modeling, Forecasting, and Budgeting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of JD Edwards is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is essential.
