Supplier Development Specialist

Job Description: As a Supplier Development Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our production and engineering teams by developing technical understanding, coordinating vendor issue containment, root cause analysis, and corrective action. This role will involve identifying gaps and opportunities around supplier corrective and preventive action activities, designing and implementing improvements.
\Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supplier quality processes
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to understand production processes and purchased parts integration
- Review and address supplier issues, recommending actions to mitigate risk
- Analyze supplier quality data to drive supplier improvements and reductions in defect rates
- Build relationships with suppliers to identify and address defects and other quality-related issues
- Develop and maintain policies, standards, processes, and documentation related to supplier quality management
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
- 2+ years of experience in engineering, supply chain, or quality
