The Director of Housekeeping at Sun Hospitality Resort Services is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the housekeeping team and operations across multiple locations nationwide. Job Description

This is an excellent opportunity to grow your hospitality career with a leading provider of housekeeping services. As a Director of Housekeeping, you will be accountable for managing the housekeeping team and operations per Sun Hospitality Standards of Operations. Your primary objective will be to promote, instill, and ensure that all employees embody the company's philosophy and mission statement.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Team Building: Develop an efficient team, meet daily expectations, and instill quality focus. Actively recruit team members, accurately convey job expectations, and utilize various recruitment avenues to ensure a fully staffed operational team.
  • Reporting: Maintain day-to-day service billing and payroll records, strive to pass internal inspections, receive reports, prioritize tasks, and share goals with your team.
  • Budget: Monitor and reduce non-productive time, assure efficient use of supplies and equipment, verify usage of stock counts, and perform inventories as needed.

In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be expected to demonstrate a high level of customer service, meet with resort management, and attend manager meetings. You will be required to work in a drug-free workplace and complete a background check.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
