Position Overview:
As a Café Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in crafting the Omni experience for our guests by delivering outstanding customer service, preparing high-quality beverages, and ensuring a clean and inviting environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow proper procedures for processing payments.
  • Maintain an accurate cash bank.
  • Verify guest room numbers for billing purposes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs.
  • Comply with food handling regulations.
  • Understand equipment usage and safety protocols.
  • Follow company policies regarding employee purchases.
  • Ensure each beverage is prepared and served according to company standards.
  • Proactively seek ways to enhance the café experience for our guests.

Qualifications:

  • Weekend availability is required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, preferably in food and beverage or retail.
  • Previous experience in a coffee shop or hotel setting is preferred.
  • Experience with cash handling and direct customer service is essential.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and pleasantly in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Proficient in accurately inputting information into point-of-sale systems.
  • Ability to manage stressful situations while maintaining a welcoming demeanor.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues across departments.
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and follow up on guest requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Completion of Barista Certification is required.
  • Familiarity with espresso preparation and specialty drinks is necessary.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Capability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods.
  • Requires repetitive motion with consistent use of hands and arms.
