Job Summary:

We are seeking a board-eligible/certified pediatric surgeon to join our team at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to choose between two employment models: the academic track, which includes a faculty appointment with Emory School of Medicine, or the clinical track, which offers a wRVU model with opportunities for mentorship and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality medical care to children and adolescents in the respective clinical area.
  • Implement and evaluate the provision of medical care with appropriate resource management.
  • Participate in quality improvement and research activities.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
  • Meet eligibility requirements for credentialing as part of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Professional Staff.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited, four-year medical school.
  • Graduate of an accredited, post-graduate residency program in Pediatric Surgery.
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatric Surgery.
  • Licensed to practice medicine in the state of Georgia.
  • BLS or PALS certification required.
